The weird thing is that I was obsessing on Zooey Deschanel so I just put in Channel Z b/c we had talked about her for a second…. it was a lucky break that it was also an old B52’s song and that we also talked about them.

I wonder why Robbi didn’t tell me that when I asked him where he was?

    whatever.

    crank!

    Lessons learned from this Podcast:

    1. Never buy a microphone from Big Lots

    2. Crank has a poor sense of time, Knightriders was made in 1981

I love Zooey Deschanel. But I always thought she was a good actor as well. She’s fantastic in Winter Passing, which is the film where I think you got the opening clip from. Additionally she’s great in All The Real Girls, Mumford and Eulogy. If you’re simply judging her from Tin Man and, I don’t know, Failure to Launch, then you’ve got some more movie watchin’ to do. She and Him is Zooey’s collaboration with singer/songwriter M. Ward, whose album Post-War is great.

The first thing I thought of, when you were talkin’ about Knightriders was – Ed Harris. (…then Tom Savini)
Looks like it was his third big film after much TV.

    Fun episode, yet again.

Oh yeah, with AC down I’ve been listening to the early crankcasts for the first time and I’m up to 29! Experiencing the before times.
    …I know, kinda kooky.
